Life Lessons in a Scrapbook – Lesson #2

A few years ago I made a scrapbook album to give to Chase someday when he gets older.   I captured some of my pregnancy, special events and milestones from his first year to document his growth.  What was most meaningful to create  in this album, was a series of “life lessons” layouts that were inspired by the photos themselves.  Please enjoy this short mini series  “Life Lessons in a Scrapbook” as I share these layouts over time,

Chase was given this Manhattan Toys Pirate so he could  practice dressing skills while he played.  After coming across this cute and funny meme on the internet, I knew it would be a perfect addition to my life lessons scrapbook.

Life Lesson #2:  Always be yourself.  Unless you can be a pirate…then always be a pirate.
